Maggi Mayo Rock n’Roll

Yeah Yeah I know, when i started with this blog writing i thought i’ll post something daily, but it’s more than 10 days, as an excuse i was too much occupied with household work and instagram etc.

But today I am back with a very easy yummy tea time snack recipe. For which you need the below given (for 2 rolls)

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of butter/ clarified butter/ refined oil
  • 1 big size chopped onion
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1 medium size chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup of boiled corns
  • Classic mayonnaise
  • tomato ketchup
  • 1 packet maggi
  • Water
  • Ground black pepper
  • Caron seeds
  • Chaat Masala
  • salt

Almost all these ingredients are easily available in the kitchen. so let’s start cooking.

  1. Prepare one pack of maggi the classic way, by adding 1 cup water, followed by tastemaker and later noodles. But kindly make sure that you don’t add excess of water. As many people like watery maggi.
  2. Ones maggi is done knead the dough with wheat flour and water.
  3. From this dough make 2 large size chapatis. Here we need half cooked chapatis. ( If you have any leftover chapatis, you can use them too)
  4. In bowl add prepared maggi noodles, chopped onions, tomatoes, boils corns, chopped green 🌶.
  5. Now for spices you need to add black pepper powder, carom seeds, oregano if you want, 3 table spoon of classic mayonnaise, 1/4 table spoon chaat masala. Salt you need to add as per you taste but carefully because maggi already has salt in it. Mix the stuffing thoroughly.
  6. On the other hand place a non stick tawa on gas and spread some butter on it and let get hot.
  7. Now take the prepared chapatis and evenly spread tomato ketchup on them.
  8. Then in the middle put the stuffing and roll the chapatis and carefully place the rolls on the hot tawa. Reduce the gas flame to low.
  9. Make sure to first cook the front of the roll so that it doesn’t open and stuffing doesn’t comes out. Then you cook the other side.
  10. Let each side cook on the low flame for at least 5 minutes.
  11. And now you can turn off the gas the rolls are ready to eat.

Variation

  • Instead of wheat flour dough, you can use all purpose flour or maida.
  • Along with mayonnaise you can also add mint chutney.
