Gharelu Mom’s Pasta

Pasta is liked by almost every kid, but not always you have the time or mood to put the same efforts, of preparing pasta sauce  etc.  So I came up with this easy recipe of making yummy pasta.

Ingredients (serving for 2)

  • 1 bowl of fusilli kids pasta
  • 3 bowls of water
  • Refined oil/butter
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • Garlic bread seasoning
  • 1 medium size onion (julienne)
  • ½ medium size capsicum (julienne or cubes)
  • 2 small tomatoes (finely  chopped and pulp removed)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ½ cup  milk cream mixed with 2 tablespoon of classic mayonnaise to make smooth paste
  • Salt

Procedure

  1. In a non stick pan take 2 tablespoon of butter and add garlic to this.
  2. Once the garlic begins to release aroma, add chopped onion and cook them till pink.
  3. Then add chopped capsicum and chopped tomato. Cook them until they are a little mushy.
  4. Then add black pepper powder, garlic bread seasoning. Turn off the gas flame.
  5. Now in a pan boil 3 bowls of water and add some salt and ½ table spoon of refined oil to it. Once the water starts boiling add pasta to it.
  6. Let it cook on high flame for 5 minutes and on low flame for 10 minutes till  the pasta is soft.
  7. Once the pasta is ready, drain the water from the pasta with the help of sieve.
  8. Now add the cream and mayonnaise mixture and boiled pasta to the onion, tomato tadka.
  9. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with light hands and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  10. Turn off the flame and add pasta or garlic bread seasoning.
  11. The yummy delicious white sauce pasta is ready.

Note- For this recipe I used only those veggies which were available in my fridge. You can add boiled corn, carrots, peas, olives etc.
