So the first post on “picture of the day” is from my wedding reception. Well we all know that Indian punjabi weddings is a saga of events which goes on for days. 2 most important days are The wedding day and The Reception. Well my in-laws town was almost 6 hour (by road) away from the wedding venue. We started late evening and reached my in-laws by mid night.
The reception was planned for the next day morning 11 am. I had to wake up early, try my reception dress which was a suprise from in-laws and by 7 am I had to reach the MUA. I was so skeptic about the MUA talent because it was a small town. But she did good as per indian punjabi weddings.
Cake cutting was fun. The only thing which irritates the most on own wedding is “everyone is enjoying and as a bride and groom we have sit on stage and smile like hundred times with eyes wide opens and challenging those big camera lights directly ino eyes”.
But else there are always butterflies flying in stomach, that special treatment. After all it’s Our The Day.
